Susan Barnett, M.A., CTRS is a PhD Candidate at Indiana University with a focus on mental health, stigma, and leisure engagement. She taught in Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management for four years at California State University, Chico. She has spoken at international conferences in leisure studies and nationally at conferences for student achievement and mentoring. Her most recent research focuses on identity development and substance use during the first year transition process into college.
