Allison Colman is a Program Manager for the National Recreation and Park Association. Allison has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University. She joined NRPA in February of 2015 to work on their health and wellness initiatives and programs, including NRPA’s Commit to Health campaign. Prior to joining NRPA, Allison worked in the recreation field facilitating health and wellness programs across all populations. Combined with her work in other non-profits and public organizations, Allison has extensive experience in public health and wellness program management and preventative health measures. She has presented at National and State-level conferences including NRPA’s Annual Conference, the Best Out-of-School Time Conference (BOOST), Arizona State Park and Recreation Conference and Texas Recreation and Park Society Institute.
