Attendees new to public entity pooling are encouraged to participate in Pooling Basics to learn how our dynamic industry varies from the private insurance industry and how pools were formed to meet the needs of members.

In addition to understanding the basics about pooling, the program will help participants learn the top three things every board member should know, helping board members fulfill investment responsibilities, understanding the difference between individual and board responsibilities, cultivating a future-forward board, and collaborating for effective change. ​

The program includes breaks, a South Of the Border lunch, beverages and snacks.
