LL-C: Teaching Bacteriology Lab Courses in a Changing Clinical Environment

With increasing use of technologies such as MALDI-TOF in the clinical microbiology laboratory, educators struggle to determine how to prepare students for clinical rotations and for professional practice. This session will describe the challenges facing microbiology educators and present some strategies for addressing these challenges in a student laboratory setting.
