This is part 1 of a two-part seminar to provide attendees with tools and tips on how to design a ground-source heat pump system for homeowners choosing hydronic heating and cooling for their home. A design example will be provided for a home recently constructed in Northern California. This presentation will focus on the source side of the GSHP: the design of the ground-loop heat exchanger and its performance.
