About This Session
Mentoring programs have long been considered a great method for further developing talent. After all, nearly 80% of learning is considered to be informal learning, meaning that you are learning on the job and from your peers. Employers are on board with this learning trend and now incorporating mentoring as a strategy for disability inclusion across the employment lifecycle. Join Derek Shields and Brett Sheats from the Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) as they describe how to create a mentoring culture in an organization, and identify at least ten disability inclusion organizations and their mentoring programs and models that you can mirror to create a program of your own.
