Newly appointed under the Trump Administration on December 12, 2017, OFCCP Director Ondray T. Harris leads a staff of men and women around the country who are dedicated to protecting workers, promoting diversity and enforcing the law and enforces three major equal employment opportunity laws, which include: Executive Order 11246, as amended; Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29 U.S.C. 793; and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended, 38 U.S.C. 4212. Prior to starting at OFCCP, Mr. Harris served as a Senior Advisor at the Department of Labor in the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), where he led the Department’s initiative to assist private industries and states with creating apprenticeship programs that can thrive across the U.S.
