The Every Student Succeeds Act, which replaced No Child Left Behind, includes language that allows states and school districts to spend some of their federal grant funds on environmental education. Partnerships with program providers will be essential to schools as they leverage these new opportunities. This session will focus on strategies and tactics for working with state and local school systems to access federal dollars for environmental education, particularly in after school settings.
