This session will provide participants, especially new recreation workers and students in the recreation field, with opportunities to learn and create new programs to engage and teach the Latino community about health and wellness and fun activities through recreation. The session will also teach how to approach and engage children, parents and adults in one program, targeting all ages. Step-by-step templates of successful programs will be provided taking into consideration the three pillars.

Learning Outcomes:
To collect data from participants to evaluate and help create purposeful programming that will generate revenue
To follow or originate templates for Latino programs, including the three pillars as part of the target goal
To seek grant opportunities, partner and collaborate with organizations saving budget while delivering the Health and Wellness, Conservation and Social Equity message.
