Department leaders from the cities of Baton Rouge, Tacoma and Dallas join a panel discussion to share how their agencies have broken away from traditional ways of offering programs by using new methods and tools to uncover trends, find under-served populations, drive up participation rates, increase program revenue, and unlock new efficiencies in facility operations. Each panelist will describe their keys to success, but the session is also designed to maximize Q&A with participants.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to identify at least three information sources used by the panelists to understand their recreation program market.
Participants will be able to explain the difference between a strategic plan, master plan, program plan, and business plan, and how each has been used to improve programming.
Participants will be able to articulate the methods used by other cities to discover under-represented populations and develop new programs for them.
