Days: Thursday, 28 September

NRPA Three Pillars: Health & Wellness

Research shows that children today are lacking core values such as kindness, respect and integrity. Character education and interactive play needs to be a part of the agenda for recreation professionals. We will play many games and watch a slide show from the New Games Foundation, who started the movement on cooperative play. The session ends as we discover basic game components and learn a hands on system on how to adapt, modify and/or create a “new” game.
