A survey by CEB of over 1 million Fortune 500 employees definitively demonstrated that veterans are more productive and more likely to be retained than non-veterans. The question is how to convince hiring managers to accept this and “take a chance” on a veteran, whose experience may be hard to reconcile with civilian job requirements. Follow along as Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director at Call of Duty Endowment, examines the state of veteran unemployment and underemployment challenges in today’s labor market, while also illustrating data and hiring statistics proving veterans make excellent employees.
