About This Session
Do you know how to ensure compliance in recruiting and sourcing? Do you have a strategic D&I marketing initiative that is fully integrated with your outreach needs? Have you utilized all the tools available to track the effectiveness of your programs? We don’t have all the answers at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), but we have developed a program that is moving us in the right direction. As a long-standing federal contractor, LANL is no stranger to EEO and affirmative action efforts; and has thrived for 75 years without having to sustain a robust recruiting strategy. However, waiting for applicants to knock on their doors was no longer sufficient. So, LANL developed a new strategy for recruiting and retaining the workforce of tomorrow.
Join this session to learn how LANL integrated EEO/AA compliance, diversity and inclusion, and strategic recruiting into a cohesive team that partners on all missions. While the integration of these efforts has led to innovative strategies that have proven effective, this new model has had growing pains. Follow along as they discuss the black, white and gray realities of record-keeping and tracking outreach, as well as the importance of all parties understanding consistent branding and the tools available to develop strategic recruiting campaigns that focus on developing and maintaining a pipeline for diversity. They will also share the success they’ve seen, including an increased veteran utilization and expanded engagement between ERGs and recruitment teams.
