More and more #schoolnurses are utlizing pedometers, fitbits, or iphone health apps as one of the #tinyhabits that is proven to improve health. As part of NASN's #healthyschoolnurse initiative, conference attendees who tweet photos with their steps at significant Philadelphia landmarks to #NASN2015 will be entered in a drawing for gift cards for fabulous sportswear.

Service Project - Feed the Need
NASN, along with the help of PASNAP, will be holding a food drive this year during NASN2015. The non-perishable food that is collected for Philabundance will be sent to members of their network of more than 500 Delaware Valley agencies that help their hungry neighbors. Two collections boxes with balloons attached will be set up on Level 5.

The future of school nursing lies in the hands of school nurses who accept the challenge to consider and discuss the essential issues in the fi eld and vote at the Annual Meeting session. Only NASN members holding NASN Active or NASN Honorary classification (red badge cover) are eligible to vote and be seated in the voting section. Auditors may attend but will be seated separately.
