Stop by Registration Desk I or II and/or the hospitality desk on the 5rd floor to ask an NASN staff member or Pennsylvania school nurse host volunteer.  Feel free to ask questions of our officers and directors on the board too.  You can identify everyone by the information on their conference badge and/or conference ribbons.

Refresh Your Mobile App
To be sure you have the most up-to-date information in your app, refresh each morning.  Select Event Details and then Settings.  Look for the refresh icon and select it.

Wireless Internet
NASN has purchased access to a limited amount of wireless Internet bandwidth within the conference meeting space (meeting rooms, foyers, registration area, and exhibit hall) intended only for light web browsing, web-based emailing and messaging, and use of the mobile app.  Select Marriott-CONFERENCE as your wireless network.  Open your browser.  Agree to terms.  Enter nasn2015 as the Access Code.  Click Submit.
NOTE: If your device is inactive for 15 minutes or if the device goes into sleep mode, the connection could drop.  If this happens, repeat steps 1 through 5 to re-connect.

Cell Phones and other Mobile Devices
NASN encourages you to bring your mobile device with you. However, it is very important that respect for other attendees is maintained. Remember to turn off your cell phone ringer and never take telephone calls inside session rooms.

Be sure to check your email while at the conference.  Other attendees may be emailing you through the attendee directory.

When you arrive at the conference hotel, stop by the Conference Materials Pickup desk to pick up you badge. Name badges must be worn for admittance to all events. Your name badge is proof of registration. Without it, you may not be allowed to participate in conference activities.

Session Seating
Seating is available on a first-come/first-served basis, so you do not have to let NASN know which sessions you plan to attend.  This practice allows all attendees an equal opportunity to attend the session(s) of their choice.  Please note that seating is limited to the capacity of the meeting room and capacity varies for each session. Please arrive early to assure a seat. Room capacity for each session will be listed in the conference program.

Tickets are only required for admittance to preconference and other noted events. Please refer to the event description for specific ticket requirements.

Session Handouts
An index of handouts is published on the NASN2015 event website.  A link to handouts for each session is provided in the schedule of this app.  [NOTE: You must login using your NASN website login the first time you access session handouts.]

Conference Syllabus
For those attendees who purchased the plastic coil spiral bound syllabus when you registered, please make sure to pick up your copy at the Conference Materials Pickup Desk. For those who did not purchase a copy with their registration, there may be a limited number available onsite to purchase. Please purchase a syllabus at the Attendee Service Desk.  Conference Syllabus: $30.

Continuing Education
You will receive Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours for the conference sessions that you attend. According to the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC) guidelines, 60 minutes = 1 contact hour. You may earn up to 20 contact hours for full participation in the four-day Conference. Additional contact hours can be earned for attendance at the preconference sessions.
National Association of School Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Online Evaluations and Certificates of Completion
A completed evaluation and attendance for the entire session are required for contact hours to be awarded and to ensure quality feedback.  Please complete evaluations as soon as possible after the event.  Visit the cyber cafe in Meeting Room 405 to complete evaluations at the conference OR complete them on your own laptop or tablet.  You can also complete evaluations when you return home.  Find instructions in your conference materials and on page 7 of the conference program.

Non-Endorsement of Products
Accredited status does not imply endorsement by NASN or ANCC of any commercial products discussed/displayed in conjunction with the educational activity. Commercial support or sponsorship, including fi nancial or in-kind, of an educational activity by a specifi c organization or corporation does not imply endorsement by the National Association of School Nurses.

Sponsorship and Endorsements
The goal of the NASN Annual Conference is to promote a free exchange of information in a non-biased independent manner in order to advance the practice of school nursing and provide leadership in the implementation of quality health programs in the school community. Sponsorships of any educational program or distribution of any product or materials by a specific organization or corporation does not indicate endorsement by the National Association of School Nurses or the American Nurses Credentialing Center. NASN will use no education activity to promote a specific product or service.

Photos and Video Recording
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NASN meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to NASN’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant's or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, video recordings, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities.

Do you have a special request (i.e., allergies, special needs, etc...)? If so, let the staff at the Attendee Service Desk know. Reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure that your conference experience is a good one.

NASN reserves the right to substitute topics and speakers if necessary. All listed presenters are confi rmed at press time.
