Members of NASN’s three special interest groups will hold informational meetings; the Consortium of School Nurse Educators, the Private and Parochial School Nurses, and the Special Needs School Nurses.
Exhibits and Exhibit Hall Drawings
Saturday, June 28, 2014, 11:00 - 6:00 p.m. [Refreshments from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. and Drawing at 5:00 p.m.]
Learn about new programs and products in the hall. Participate in the passport program to be entered in exhibit hall prize drawings including a drawing for a funding to attend NASN2015 in Philadelphia. Your passport is located in your conference bag. You are required to have all vendors stamp it for it to be eligible in the drawings. You must be present to win AND you must sign your passport so that we can identify you.

The poster presentations provide an opportunity to view posters of current research and clinical practice materials, as well as visionary ideas and emerging trends. Presenters will be in attendance at their posters and available for discussion. View the poster schedule on pages 29 & 30 of your conference program.

Help us give back to the community that hosts our annual conference! We have solicited donated items to fill bags for The Children’s Shelter of San Antonio, an organization that provides a safe refuge for abused, abandoned and neglected children in San Antonio and Bexar County. Attendees will have the opportunity to fill bags on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th with personal hygiene products. These bags will then be presented to The Children’s Shelter during our Awards Celebration on Sunday night, where they will also receive the NASN Community Giveback Award! Stop by and give back by filling a bag!
Affiliate Rally and Affiliate Night Out

This is your chance to “meet up” with others from your NASN affiliate organization. Spend an afternoon and evening catching up with and getting to know these “nearby” colleagues. The Affiliate Rally happens prior to the NASN official business meeting or Annual Meeting and the Affiliate Night Out happens after the Annual Meeting. Check with your colleagues to see how they want to spend this time.
Annual Business Meeting
Monday, June 30, 2014 from 3:45 - 6:00 pm
All members are encouraged to participate in NASN's official business. The future of school nursing lies in the hands of school nurses who accept the challenge to consider and discuss the essential issues in the field and vote at the Annual Meeting session. Membership Status: All attendees, regardless of membership classification, are encouraged to attend. Only NASN members holding "Active" status are eligible to vote and be seated in the voting section. Auditors may attend, but will be seated separately. Note: This year's meeting will include 30 minutes of education where attendees can earn .50 CNE contact hours.
Join us at El Pequeño Mercado for a little taste of San Antonio shopping right inside the convention hotel. There will be Silent Auction baskets and souvenirs for purchase. Look for our little market near the registration area. Don't forget a little extra cash, as we cannot accept credit cards at El Pequeño Mercado.

There is something to be found for everyone and every special occasion that needs a gift! Share in this opportunity to promote & support excellence in school nursing.
Visit the NASN Bookstore for an opportunity to review and purchase the latest NASN publications without the worry of postage and handling charges*. This year, the NASN Bookstore will also offer new gifts and accessories that help to promote the NASN school nurse in their community. A limited supply of these items will be sold exclusively at the NASN Conference, so come by early. The Bookstore will accept payments in cash, traveler’s check or personal check for the amount of purchase, and all major credit cards.
