Q. Will the DE Events app work without Internet connectivity?
A. Yes, all major features of the DE Events app have been designed to work offline and during times of low or absent Internet connectivity. However, there are a few items that do require an active Internet connection to work:
- Downloading the app and selecting the DEAM16 event
- Syncing agenda between devices
- Refreshing the app to reflect new/modified content
- Accessing pages that link to external content including:
- "Be Social" tabs
- "Explore Indianapolis" tabs
- Session grading polls
Q. I've lost my badge. Do I really need one?
A. Conference attendees are required to display name badges during all DEAM16 functions. Name badges are color-coded to enhance your communication with others at DEAM16. You must have your name badge to get into all dining and social functions; your badge serves as your admission ticket. If you have misplaced your name badge, see the Registration/Help Desk for a replacement.
Q. Can I get HRCI credit for this session?
A. We are currently undergoing the process of submitting sessions to the HR Certification Institute to receive HRCI Recertification Credit for sessions held during the 2016 Annual Meeting & Conference. Last year, we were approved for 12 general recertification credits and we hope to provide an equal opportunity to receive credit this year.
Q. Where do I turn in my completed DEAM16 Express ticket? What do I earn?
A. Return the completed DEAM16 Express ticket to the Swag Store to be entered into a drawing for an Apple Watch Sport (42mm) with blue sport band! At that time you may use Swag Bucks to buy additional entries. May the odds be ever in your favor.
Q. What are Swag Bucks?
A. Swag Bucks are DEAM16 reward currency that conference attendees can use to purchase items from the DEAM16 Swag Store. There are a number of ways to earn Swag Bucks including visiting demo hall booths, asking questions during Q&A sessions and downloading the mobile app. Swag Bucks can be exchanged for promotional items, apparel, extra event drink tickets and more. Q. Where should I park during the event?
A. The Crowne Plaza does not have complimentary daily self-parking.
